RESPONSIBILITIES
- Build, coach and lead Midland's Quebec sales team which consists of five Account Managers;
- Ensure sales revenue and gross margin targets are achieved;
- Achieve revenue plan for LTL, TL, Courier and Brokerage;
- Maintain key customer relationships while developing and implementing strategies for expanding the company's customer base in Quebec;
- Explore new markets, services and products and development of these opportunities for revenue growth;
- Achieve required rate increases to improve revenue quality on a continuous basis;
- Foster an environment of continuous improvement.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Years of Experience Required : 6-10 years' experience in the transportation / courier industry;
- Education Required : Successful completion of post-secondary education, education in Sales and Marketing an asset;
- Major account experience is an asset;
- Sales management experience preferred;
- Solid LTL, Truckload and Courier transportation knowledge and experience;
- Highly motivated and results oriented individual;
- Strong customer service skills;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Knowledge of transportation operations would be preferred.
