Warehouse Supervisor at Wajax

Overview

The Warehouse Supervisor manages day‑to‑day warehouse operations, supervising staff to ensure inventory and shipping / receiving functions operate at optimum levels and continuously improve. The role implements and manages processes and policies to maximize customer satisfaction and operational efficiencies.

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor Health and Safety programs to achieve “Everyone Home Safe” initiatives.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and properly maintain assets for daily operations.
• Optimize shipping and receiving activities to meet business requirements with hands‑on involvement.
• Supervise inventory integrity, turns, obsolescence, shrink, and handling to meet standards, targets and KPIs.
• Ensure branch inventory, delivery and handling requirements are met and follow exception and service‑failure communication and resolution protocols.
• Physically perform and assist with all shipping / receiving, put‑away, pick, pack operations as needed.
• Guide safe behaviours and process implementation to eliminate bottlenecks throughout the DC : Receiving, Putaway, Picking, Packing, QC, Shipping, Inventory.
• Lead or participate in inventory integrity and count activities.
• Assist internal and external customers with deliveries or shipments as required.
• Operate and drive forklifts, pallet jacks, etc., as certified.
• Perform equipment safety checks, report findings, and meet certification requirements.
