Main responsibilities :
- Support in the design, development, and integration of high-voltage electrical systems
- Technical support to the different departments involved in the advancement and implementation of projects.
- Plan electrical tests on locomotives or its subsystems at suppliers.
- Documentation, instrumentation, coordination of tests,
- Write test reports and make the necessary recommendations
- Guide technicians to solutions
- Prepare specifications
- Design and experiment various test-specific fixtures
Skills and qualifications :
- BACC in electrical engineering and 5 years of experience in the manufacturing industry
- Experience in railroading (AAR, APTA, FRA)
- Knowledge with one of the 2-engineering software (SolidWorks & Inventor)
