As an Accounting Clerk at CLBC, you will be responsible for assisting in the ongoing process of monitoring, assessing, interpreting and highlighting financial practices and policies. The Accounting Services team is responsible for managing the systems and processes related to all accounting activities, including general ledger, accounts payable, payroll, treasury, and financial reporting.
As a standout candidate, you are a detail-oriented professional who brings strong communication skills and a solid foundation in accounting and mathematics. You should be comfortable working with computerized systems and related tools, and be able to analyze, interpret, and organize information efficiently. The ideal candidate works independently while keeping leadership informed, manages changing priorities and tight deadlines with confidence, and builds positive, cooperative relationships across teams. A high degree of tact, sound judgment, and the ability to plan and organize your workload effectively are essential for success in this role.
