Description :
Our client is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join their dynamic team. As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in providing more bandwidth to the company by focusing on ground work, support Account Managers from a technical perspective, and collaboratively define system level requirements and functions in the realm of optical semiconductor technology.
- In charge of overseeing all facets of electrical design to ensure the delivery of product functionalities, system efficiency, and top-notch quality within the realm of cost-effective, large-scale 3D sensing applications.
- Autonomously craft transmitter, receiver, and computing boards to yield distinct products leveraging Lumotive’s fundamental technologies.
- Handle the process of selecting and assessing electrical elements and subsystems.
- Manage electrical testing and prototype development, including the setup, tools, and facilities.
- Lead the planning, implementation, and documentation of design validation, electrical performance evaluations, and adherence to industry benchmarks.
- Supervise the assembly and initiation of boards, engaging with both local and international contractors and suppliers.
- Forge strong collaborations with FPGA, mechanical, and optical engineers, as well as system engineers and other cross-functional teams, to meet technological benchmarks, performance goals, and project timelines in aligning with product specifications.
- Participate actively in interdisciplinary teams to outline requirements and devise project strategies.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering; preference for advanced degrees.
- A minimum of 5 years of industry experience, or 3 years with a higher degree.
- Expert in analog, mixed-signal, and high-speed digital circuit design.
- Skilled in creating multi-layered, densely-packed, and intricate PCB designs.
- Understanding of DFX principles and adept at ensuring power and signal integrity.
- Hands-on experience with schematic capture and PCB layout design tools, with a preference for Altium Designer.
- Familiarity with high-speed differential data interfaces, including MIPI CSI 2, LVDS, USB, Ethernet, as well as serial peripheral interfaces like SPI, I2C, and UART.
- Experience in 3D sensing technologies desired.
