The role

In this role the incumbent will assist the territory manager with hiring, training and supporting new casual photographers in their region.

This role is also responsible for working with other team members to continuously develop the team’s photography skills and professionalism.

The Lead Photographer will advocate for Edge's core values, which are a FACT (Fun, Accountability, Creativity and Teamwork) in their team of photographers!

What you will focus on

Assist the territory manager in the proper functioning of the territory including : Accountable to photo quality results for the photography team.

Your Role is to create compelling images for customers to purchase through a team of photographers. Your effectiveness in the role will be reflected through consumer engagement by participation rates and order averages.

This will be done by Field supervision, training and mentoring. Accountable to efficient scheduling of photographers to jobs.

Have detailed knowledge of all Edge Imaging programs and procedures to support the territory manager in the implementation and servicing of these programs Demonstrates Creativity fora fun work environment.

Demonstrates Creative, strong problem solving and dispute resolution capabilities as it pertains to effectively and efficiently dealing with staff, customer and school client issues in a manner that promotes and enhances the Edge Imaging BrandCommunicate territory matters a thorough knowledge of the Company’s field production systems and procedures in order that all orders and jobs information is completed timely and accurately in accordance with Company policy utilizing the systems and processes designed for that purposeEnsure timely renewals as the highest standards of customer service and be a consummate ambassador for the Company.

Accountable to Ensure the minimum staffing levels are maintained to cover the Photography schedule by Territory preparation and planning including working on hiring teams as duties as assigned.

What we’re looking for

• Diploma or degree in Photography preferred
• 2 years’ experience as an Edge field photographer
• Strong customer focus and organization skills
• Ability to deal with multiple and changing priorities
• Experience working with children is an asset
• Ability to work in a variety of schools within a school board region, with the opportunity to work in other school boards
• Successful candidates require reliable car with the ability to carry professional photographic equipment. A valid driver’s license and car insurance is required
• As this position involves working with children in a school setting successful applicants must pass a Vulnerable Sector Check
• Must be legally authorized to work in Canada

Physical requirements & work environment

• Ability to lift up to 35lbs
• Ability to stand, walk, bend repetitively for extensive periods of time
• Travel required throughout specified region
• School environment from Kindergarten to High School
