Handwork and Assembly Technician will be responsible for the following :
We are looking for a reliable Handwork and Assembly Technician to support our manufacturing operations. This role involves hands on tasks including assembly of components, manual finishing of components, and assisting with the preparation of materials for production.
Duties Include
- Perform assembly of components including installation of fasteners, dowels, adhesives, etc.
- De-Burr and perform finishing tasks on completed components
- Perform polishing and fitting of components to ensure required specifications are met
- Measurement and documentation of dimensions / QC checks as required
- Move materials and finished components around the shop as needed
- Utilize band saw to cut materials to proper specifications
- Clean and package finished components
- Maintain shop cleanliness
- Escort contractors as required
- Other tasks as required
Qualifications
Minimum High School education or equivalentMandatory that this role take part in a criminal record check and controlled goods screeningExperience
Minimum 1 year experience required
Experience working in a manufacturing sector is considered an assetCore Work Hours
7 : 30am-4 : 00pm Monday – FridayWeekly overtime is availableCompensation
