H2Flow Equipment Inc supplies processes and equipment for water and wastewater treatment for industrial and municipal use and actively works with plant engineers & operators, consulting engineers and contractors.
H2Flow Equipment Inc. is looking for a full-time Project Manager to join our engineering team.
The Project Manager is primarily responsible for all aspects of project management including initiating, planning, executing, monitoring / controlling and closing.
The incumbent is also responsible for maintaining deadlines while conducting quality assurance for all projects.
Job Duties
- Implement detailed plans and recommend procedures for specific requirements.
- Prepare budgets, estimates, schedules, progress and monthly reports.
- Execute project by actively managing project schedules, project scope requirements, project deliverables, project resources and budgets to meet deliverables.
- Negotiate project changes in scope and related extras while maintaining the quality and schedule of the project.
- Prepare P&ID, PFD, process and control narratives.
- Prepare engineering submittal packages.
- Assist with installation supervision, inspection, start-up and client training as required.
- Review submittal documents for product approval and necessary changes for proper installation of equipment.
- Provide project costs and billing milestones reports to accounting.
- Review purchase orders received and client requirements.
- Review and issue vendors’ purchaser orders.
- Prepare operating and maintenance manuals.
- Perform work in compliance with quality management and control systems as well as relevant legislation and safety procedures.
- Oversee the work performance of external service providers ensuring the work completed meets company standards and project specifications.
- Follow all company’s safety procedures and protocols.
- Other duties as assigned to support customer and business needs.
Requirements
- University Engineering degree (Chemical or Civil or Environmental or mechanical engineering discipline)
- Minimum 3-5 years of direct work experience in water and wastewater industry
- Experience relating to project engineering
- Proficiency with AutoCAD 2D compulsory Solidworks knowledge will be an asset
- Strong computer skills and proficiency with common applications including databases and MS Office (especially Word, Outlook and Excel) and MS project
- Proven experience in project management
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- French desirable
- Highly motivated and self-directed capable of multi-tasking, and able to work with minimal supervision.
