The Opportunity
The Licensing ProgramCoordinatorserves as the primary liaison for RestrictedInsuranceAgency licence applicants and licensees, ensuring they have clear visibility into their licensing status, understand next steps, and receivetimely guidance on requirements. The role promotes efficiency, transparency, and quality assurance across the licensing process.
Duties and Responsibilities
Act as the main point of contact forRestrictedInsuranceAgencylicenceapplicantsseekingtimelyupdates onapplicationstatus,ensuring clarity on requirements and next steps.Guide applicantsthrough all stages of the process, including documentation submission, payment processing, and compliance with regulatory standards.Proactivelyidentifypotential issues or delays in applications, licensingprocessesand work with internal teams to resolve them quickly, minimizing disruptions and improvingefficiency.ExplainRestricted Insurance Agencyaccreditation requirementsand timelines in detailtoapplicants and licensees.Explain to an applicant or licenseetheobligationsassociatedwith therestrictions and / or conditionson their licence.Direct applicantsor licenseestoappropriate resources, including guides, handbooks, and regulatory documentation, andassistin interpreting complexlicensingrequirements when needed.Maintainaccurateand comprehensive records of all interactionsand resolutions within the licensing system to supportefficiency and compliance.Provide support foreffective communication and collaboration between internal teams, committees, and external stakeholders to ensure consistent messaging and efficient resolution ofrestrictedlicensing matters.Monitor trends inrestricted licensinginquiries and processes, analyze data toidentifygaps or inefficiencies, andmakerecommendations toimprove the applicantor licenseeexperience.Participate in cross-departmental projects and work groups focused on improvingrestricted licensing processes, accreditation standards, and compliance frameworks.Perform other duties as assigned.Qualifications and Experience
Two to three years of experience in regulatory,insurance,financial services, or related fields.Post- secondaryeducationin a related field, such as business administration, or equivalent work experience.Insurance coursesare considered an asset.Proficiencyin MS Office Suite.Good time-management skills with an ability to handle multiple concurrent tasks and changing priorities.Familiarity withlicensing, regulatory,or compliance processes is an asset.Strong organizational and attention-to-detail skills.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Ability to work collaboratively andmaintainprofessionalism under pressure.Customer service orientation and problem-solving mindset.Minimum to Midpoint Salary Range : $58,480 - $73,100 per annum.
Upon hire, new employees will be placed in a starting salary between the minimum and P50 (midpoint) of the salary range. The P50 of the range represents an employee that possesses full job knowledge, qualifications, and experience for the position.
