Responsibilities
What’s the job : The Senior Salesforce Developer will design, build, and scale secure, enterprise‑grade solutions on the Salesforce platform. This position will lead end‑to‑end implementations across Sales, Service, and Experience Cloud, develop robust REST / SOAP APIs, integrate Salesforce with internal and external systems (including MuleSoft or similar tools), and deliver high‑quality Apex, LWC, and Flow automations that are reliable, maintainable, and well‑governed.
What you’ll be doing :
Design & Development
- Architect and implement scalable solutions across Sales, Service, and Experience Cloud (customer / partner portals), including site setup, theming, sharing, and user models.
- Build REST and SOAP APIs using Apex, External Services, Named Credentials, and API Gateway with strong security, versioning, and monitoring.
- Develop Apex classes, triggers, asynchronous processes, and platform events, along with Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL / SOSL, and custom metadata.
- Create record‑triggered, screen, and scheduled Flows, including subflows and invocable actions, with proper error handling and guardrails.
Integrations
Lead integrations using MuleSoft (preferred) or other iPaaS / ESB tools (e.g., Boomi, Workato), applying patterns like request / reply, pub / sub, batch, CDC, and event‑driven designs.Implement data synchronization and orchestration using Platform Events, Change Data Capture, and Streaming API, with retry strategies and idempotency.Quality, DevOps & Governance
Define coding standards, unit / integration testing (minimum 75% coverage), static analysis, and peer reviews.Manage CI / CD pipelines (SFDX, unlocked packages, Git branching) using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Copado, or Gearset; oversee environments and data seeding.Set up logging and monitoring (Event Monitoring, trace flags, Platform Events) and define SLIs / SLOs for critical services.Security & Compliance
Implement least‑privilege access (profiles, permission sets, permission set groups), SSO (SAML / OIDC), and OAuth flows for APIs.Ensure data protection, field‑level and record‑level security, and compliance with privacy frameworks (e.g., PIPEDA) and internal policies.Stakeholder Collaboration
Translate business requirements into technical designs and documentation.Work closely with admins, product managers, architects, and external vendors; provide guidance on platform and integration best practices.Qualifications
