The Opportunity

Join a leadership team of actuaries, data scientists and engineers at the forefront of leveraging data to drive decisions at every level of our organization. The insurance industry is undergoing a data-driven, technology revolution and you will be in the driver’s seat.

The GIS Manager will lead the development and implementation of geospatial capabilities within the company, supporting key business areas such as Data Science, Pricing, Underwriting (UW), and Exposure Management. This role is responsible for the strategic direction, people management, and operational excellence of the GIS function, ensuring geospatial technologies deliver business value. Our leadership team collectively seeks to expand our very strong and diverse talent base. You will take shared ownership for continuing this successful growth.

• Oversee, develop and mentor a highly productive team of GIS Specialists & Data Scientists.
• Establish a vision with stakeholders and create a culture that treats geospatial data and data science as essential assets.
• Lead the development and deployment of modern GIS tools and business solutions.
• Deliver on an ambitious GIS roadmap to transform our business operations and manage future climate risk.
• Stay current with advancements in GIS technology and best practices.
