Medical Territory Manager Saskatoon

Our client has been a global leader as a medical therapy provider for over 100 years with a portfolio of products that cater to a wide range of common medical needs and indications.

They work in close partnership with multiple healthcare dealers and channels such as retail pharmacy, orthopaedic and physiotherapy clinics, plus other specialty clinics and hospitals to provide technical product expertise, training, and support.

In this role as Territory Manager, you will manage the business throughout Saskatchewan and strategically maintain and grow existing accounts and source new business opportunities while providing an exceptional level of sales acumen and customer service.

The role is to build sustainable relationships with key customers which includes both retail outlets and medical professionals (prescribers and influencers).

The TM will provide superior sales and consulting services for the brand and the category by regularly meeting with their client base to maintain, enhance and develop their business.

Connecting the medical prescription to a dealer is a key success factor and you must have excellent communication skills to be able to consult with clients and provide clear advice on how to better use the products or services to enhance their businesses, while achieving yearly sales goals and maintaining expected performance standards.

Responsibilities include :

Work with a variety of specialized healthcare professionals, dealers, retailers and speciality clinics to grow and enhance sales of prescribed medical products.

Provide clinical product education and support to stakeholders including fitters, pharmacists, and related personnel.

Detail, educate and train a broad mix of HCP’s including vascular surgeons, general surgeons, dermatologists, plastic surgeons, phlebologists, medical Residents, nurses and other key influencers.

Assist with patient issues where required and be the go to person within the category.

  • Collaborate with colleagues to help manage and lead at conferences, educational seminars, and special customer events to raise awareness of the category and provide technical product training.
  • Continuously prospect for new business and increase productivity of territory while meeting / exceeding annual performance standards including managing expense budgets and reporting.

Utilize electronic sales reporting system and follow sales calls guidelines (monthly visits, in-service calls, cold calls, etc.).

Qualifications include a university degree with 2-3 years’ experience in outside sales and a proven track record of previous success exceeding specific and targeted metrics.

This role is well suited for an energetic people-person, a relationship builder, and a strategic communicator capable of creating value, delivering personalized service and building customer / brand satisfaction and loyalty.

Compensation includes a salary of $65K and commissions with total income potential of $90-110K, car allowance, gas card, and health benefits.
