Compensation and Benefits
- Benefits plan : employer paid RRSP program
- Competitive wages starting at $27–$32 / hour, with the possibility of earning more based on experience
- Annual tool and boot allowance
- A 4‑day workweek consisting of 10‑hour shifts, Thursday to Sunday, with a flexible start time of 6 : 00 AM or 7 : 00 AM

Skills and Qualifications
On the Road Trailer certificationHigh school diploma or equivalentRed Seal Technician and / or CVIP certification for trailers is a definite assetExperience with reefers is a definite assetKeep shop equipment functional by adhering to operating instructionsManage inventory of stockDuties and Responsibilities
Follow and maintain all safety measures according to company policy and proceduresCourteous interaction with fellow employees and supervisorsPerform job‑related duties as assignedCarefully listen to driver’s complaints, conduct inspections, diagnose issues, repair mechanical and electrical system malfunctions, replace parts and components, and repair body damageInspect and repair trailer electrical systems, landing gear assemblies, and suspension / brakes. Work with a fleet of over 200 trailers (reefers / dry vans)Conduct routine maintenance, diagnostics and repair work on the following : coupling and hitching systems, tires, hubs, wheels and axles, heating and refrigeration systemsMaintain current PMs, CVIPs and schedule future maintenance sessionsKeep logs on work and issues using computer softwareMaintain company‑owned equipment and keep tools in neat and proper conditionAssist in conducting pre‑ and post‑vehicle inspections of equipmentReport any safety or repair issues to the shop supervisorAll applicants will be treated with the highest degree of confidentiality.
