Compensation : $18.00 / hour (Base Rate : $17.20 + $0.80 Courses Premium)

About the Role :

LTS Protective Services is hiring dependable and professional Event Security Guards for part-time and on-call assignments across the GTA. This role is ideal for individuals looking to work flexible hours while contributing to the safety and success of public and private events such as concerts, festivals, elections, sporting events, and corporate gatherings.

Key Responsibilities :

• Provide security and crowd control at public and private events.
• Monitor entrances and exits to ensure only authorized individuals gain access.
• Assist with controlling lines, managing crowd flow, and maintaining orderly environments.
• Patrol designated areas to prevent and detect suspicious behavior or safety hazards.
• Communicate effectively with event staff, emergency services, and the LTS team.
• Respond calmly and quickly to incidents or emergencies on site.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and event regulations.
• Deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining a professional security presence.

Uniform Requirements : All Event Guards are expected to wear LTS-approved security uniforms while on duty :

Compensation Details :

Base Rate : $17.20 / hour

Courses Premium : +$0.80 / hour (applied only when all certifications are valid and current)

Total Rate : $18.00 / hour when fully certified
