Reporting to the Director of Service, the Dispatch Coordinator is responsible for planning and managing technician workloads, ensuring efficient service delivery while keeping technicians, customers, and leadership aligned.
What You’ll Do
Manage and prioritize the dispatch call board, assigning work based on technician skill, territory, and service urgencySchedule and coordinate service calls to meet customer expectations and priority commitmentsBuild and balance daily and weekly technician workloads, adjusting in real timeCoordinate preventive maintenance (PM) and Brush Butler schedulesEnsure technicians are prepared with job details, parts, and customer informationResolve scheduling conflicts in collaboration with service, parts, and leadership teamsMaintain technician schedules including vacation, travel, on-call, and time-off coverageCommunicate with customers to confirm appointments and provide service updatesSupport parts coordination and technician training schedulingAdapt quickly to changing field conditions while maintaining service continuityResponsibilities may evolve as the role and service operation grow.
