What you will be doing :

The Senior Manager, Issues Management will contribute to the overall success of Tangerine Bank Issues Management Program, in Canada ensuring specific individual goals, plans, initiatives are executed / delivered in support of the team’s business strategies and objectives.

The successful candidate will ensure that all activities conducted are in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures.

Champion a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge.

Lead and oversee the Tangerine Issues Management program, ensuring development, execution, and oversight of the Issue Management framework.

The incumbent is responsible for oversee the day-to-day operations of the Tangerine Issue Management program and act as the Business Control Lead who is required to review and validate all issues, action plans, remediation plans and issue closures.

Be accountable to ensure all new issues are triaged and that the team has engaged required stakeholders such as but not limited to Legal, Compliance, key business stakeholders and issue approvers to socialize new or potential issues.

Support issues through the entire life cycle across the various areas of Tangerine Bank and influence decisions, escalate issues for discussion and resolution.

Support and build partnership within Tangerine Bank, Global Risk Management, Global Compliance, and internal partners that support Tangerine Bank to ensure issues are escalated timely.

Responsible to outline and oversee quality assurance standards to ensure procedural adherence to maintain the integrity of the program.

Development and oversight of the reporting schedule and produce / contribute to reporting per outlined schedule of reporting deliverables.

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? We'd love to work with you if you have :

Bachelor's Degree required, MBA or other Graduate degree a plus

Leadership skills and the ability to effectively organize a process with high visibility and multiple deliverables with specific and time sensitive deadlines

A minimum of 8 years demonstrated success in financial services industry working within a defined control framework.

Knowledge of retail products, banking regulations, financial and operations functions.

A demonstrated ability to effectively work hands-on as well as with cross functional teams

Strong written and verbal communication skills
