Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance checks on all production equipment and machinery
• Apply repairs too components and replace parts on machines
• Troubleshoot machinery to identify problems
• Adjust functional parts of devices and control instruments
• Assemble and dismantle devices to gain access to and remove defective parts
• Inspect used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements

Qualifications

• 433A ticket OR experience as a maintenance technician / mechanic
• Excellent blueprint reading skills
• Keen attention to detail
• Basic understanding of systems, equipment and schematics
• Experience with bearings, filters, wiring, valves, gauges and switches an asset
