Salary : $40.00 CAD - $45.00 CAD per hour depending on experience
Benefits : 2 weeks of paid vacation per year in accordance with provincial employment standards and company policy. Eligible for health and dental benefits in accordance with company policy.
Job Summary :
Maintain physical plant and equipment to ensure 100% production up-time
Knowledge and Skills (Education) :
COQ Industrial Millwright with 5 years of experienceHigh degree of mechanical aptitude and complete understanding of Mechanical and Electrical proceduresKnowledge of machine rigging proceduresKnowledge of machining and weldingAbility to read drawings, blueprints, specifications and manualsAbility to incorporate technical reportsGood communicator in the English language (written and oral)Experience with repairing large tonnage presses - strong asset but not mandatoryMajor Accountabilities :
Millwright will maintain Preventative Maintenance schedulePerform full diagnostics on equipment and advise Maintenance Supervisor and / or Purchasing Manager of parts required to perform necessary Mechanical and Electrical troubleshooting and electrical repairsPhysically maintain machines and equipmentMillwright must ensure all paperwork and logs are completed prior to shift endMillwright must follow Machine Safety Guidelines, ensure proper lock out / tag out procedures are followed at all timesMaintain proper Company housekeeping standardsMillwright is responsible to maintain Company tools as required to fulfill dutiesAll other duties as assigned by Supervisors and ManagersMillwright will support weekly production requirementsParticipate in any continuous improvement activitiesMillwright will assist in monitoring downtime / uptime and abide within the Department / Company goalsAbide by all Company policies including, but not limited to the following : Health and Safety , Quality and Environmental Systems, Human Resources policies, and Martinrea Employee HandbookLicense :
