The Bench Service Technician is responsiblefor providing excellent customer service while servicing customerequipment. As a Service Technician, you will record the servicerequest, successfully service pneumatic tools, warehousingequipment, and follow up with our customers on maintenance orconcerns.
Responsibilities :
- Repair pneumatic nailing and stapling tools,strap tensioning tools, electric hand tools, pallet jacks,compressors.
- Perform planned and preventativemaintenance on company product lines and competitiveequipment.
- Complete customer service breakdowncalls and repairs as scheduled.
- Prepare newequipment for installation and in-service.
- Maintain customer records and profiles..
- Prepare and complete customer work orders, warrantyclaims and parts orders.
- Build and maintainour good relationship with our customers, sales staff, andmanagement.
- Solve mechanical, and electricalproblems utilizing, electronic, and paper service manuals andmanufacturers technical support personnel.
- Actively foster key customer relationships and realizefuture growth potential.
Requirements :
- Have a mechanical / electrical, or automotivebackground, training, or certification.
- StrongCommunication skills
- Self-starter who takesinitiative and maintains excellent follow-through andfollow-up.
- Strong organizationalskills
- Effective communication and customerservice skills
- Strong computerskills
- Ability to work effectively insituations that involve change and / or competing demands.
- Perform well in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient handling of all confidential andtime-sensitive material.
- Ability to staywithin budget on expenditures.
- Performs otherrelated duties as required and assigned.
