Our client inpartnership with Installation Technology is delivering TelecomsCommercialisation Project (TCP) across 136 London undergroundstations and the adjacent tunnels.

This system will enable 2G 3Gand 4G coverage layers on London Underground Network. The newlyinstalled antenna system will be tested commissioned and integratedas per industry standards.

We are looking for Data comms / NetworkProject Design Manager or Design Document Manager with experiencein compiling data comms / network design and asbuilt packages.

Therole will primarily be based remotely (working from home) with 12days a week at our office inPaddington.

EssentialKnowledge :

  • Knowledgeof TFL project delivery or London Underground infrastructure is keyto this role
  • Good standard ofeducation (A Levels / Equivalent) with Project ManagementExperience
  • Document managementexperience Managing writing implementing prioritising and compilingvarious project documents
  • Liaisingwith various stakeholders
  • CablingInfrastructure Standards would be a bonus but notessential

Requirements

  • Compilelow level design and as built documentation packs for submissioninto TFL document management system. Packs are comprised ofmultiple documents including but not limited to TopologiesSchedules General Arrangements Space Applications and will requirereview and validation prior tosubmission.
  • Clientresponses to be picked up and addressed directly or throughconsultation with relevant delivery team personnel. The level ofengagement with the various delivery units producing thedocumentation should increase quickly to the point that ownershipof the process and direct accountability to the TfL projectengineer can beachieved.
  • Therole will focus on Station designs but will expand to Gate 5 AsBuilt submissions so as to address volume challenges as theyoccur.

Manage end to end structured cabling projects safely, on time,& within budget Deliver projects from implementation through tohandover Attend and host regular meetings with peers and clientManage account s day to day health & safety, environmental& general staff wellbeing Audit site, complete technicaldocumentation and upload documents on to share point Mentor JuniorProject Managers, Shift Managers and assist with company operationsManage client expectations and ensure deadlines are met Manageemployees performance, carry out regular one 2 ones, and appraisalsReport teams absence & disciplinary issues through companiesHRM system Compile RAMS and submit to Workforce PlanningManager / HSQE manager for approval within the required time frame (aminimum of 48 hours prior to work commencing) Apply for Permits andSpace applications with the relevant bodies Liaise with operationsfor resources, training & logistics required Liaise with theHSQE manager and ensure company complies with current CDM Completeand submit Bill of Materials (form) to Logistics Department withinthe required time frame (a minimum of 72 hours prior to desireddelivery date) Carry out incident follow up actions when requiredTrouble shoot site issues for Lead Engineers when possible Consultwith SPCs daily on all projects if applicable Handover testresults / drawings and completion of works certificate Cooperate withemployer to enable compliance with the law Attend Managers Meetingsas and when required Required to work day shifts or night shifts(engineering hours) as per project requirement
