MDSearchis seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join a patientfocusedorganization in New Minas Nova Scotia striving to enhance thehealth and wellbeing of specialized populations through patientcare.
Inthis role you will provide assessment and care utilizing shockwavetherapy services to treat patients with erectile dysfunction.
Training on equipment usage will beprovided.
Responsibilities :
- Deliverhigh quality care by assessing screening prescribing and providingtherapeutic care for patients asnecessary
- Upholdclinical customer service through the delivery of prompt andempatheticcare
- Provideclinical care for patients with erectile dysfunction includingshockwavetherapy
Schedule :
MondaytoFriday
Expectedhours : 20 40 perweek
Requirements
- Currentcertificate of registration with the Nova Scotia College of Nursingas a nurse practitioner in goodstanding.
- Masterof Science (Nursing) or a Masters in a relevant discipline ispreferred.
- Abilityto conduct clients interviews and examinations develop andimplement clientcentered treatment plans while integratingevidencebased health promotionpractices
- Demonstratedability to work as a member of the interdisciplinary team and tofunction within a collaborative practicemodel.
- Effectiveleadership capabilities including but not exclusive to teachingmentoring and supporting shared caremodels.
- Memberof NPANS is anasset
- Additionalprofessional liability coverage is required; additional relevantprofessional memberships are anasset.
- Experience / confidencein working independently with a high degree of selfdirection andstrong organizationalskills.
- Demonstratedexcellence in interpersonal and communication skills (written andoral) including conflict resolutionskills.
- Abilityto use information technology (e.g. Microsoft Office and electronicmedicalrecords).
- BasicLife Support certification isrequired.
Benefits
Compensation :
Thecompensation for this position is $75.00$100.00 perhour.
Current certificate of registration with the Nova Scotia College ofNursing as a nurse practitioner in good standing. Master of Science(Nursing) or a Masters in a relevant discipline is preferred.
