POSITION
The successful applicant will need to focus on either sales or implementation depending on what the business needs most at that time.
If the pipeline (potential customers) is lacking, they will need to focus on sales but if the backlog (clients waiting to be installed) is full they will need to focus on implementation.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :
Sales Role
- Reach out to customer leads through cold calling
- Contact clients via video chat, phone call, e-mail, or social media or visit them physically. Coordinate sales effort with sales management
- Engage potential customers in a professional manner with all aspects of our ERP software application - Steel Manager III.
- The interpersonal skills to be able to speak comfortably and build rapport with a wide variety of people including 4GL staff, existing customers and potential customers.
- An energetic person that has a hunter approach to prospect for potential customers in North America. Great at cold calling and the perseverance to build relationships with prospective customers even in the face of resistance.
- Self-motivated
- Excellent written communication skills and the ability to clearly and concisely discuss all aspects of our ERP application.
- The drive to consistently attain budgeted sales and goals.
- Stay up to date on all products and services offered
- In depth demonstrations of SM3 to potential clients.
Implementation Role
- Perform and document gap analysis (compare clients’ business procedures and software functionality)
- Provide support to business users and propose modifications and / or enhancements to existing applications to improve their functionality or address any issues that arise
- Work collaboratively with the clients’ management team to ensure their Operational System meets their on-going needs. Implement changes where agreed.
- Consulting and liaising with the development team regarding custom modifications required by client
- Consulting and liaising with the development team regarding bugs / potential software improvements
- Configure the application based on the clients’ needs.
- Streamlining and documenting implementation procedures.
- Conducting training courses to clients re : financial (Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Cashbook), Purchasing, Sales, and Inventory modules.
- Stay current with system information, changes and updates.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS :
- Energetic salesperson who will drive the sales process by generating leads through to scheduling and conducting demonstrations with potential customers
- Excellent presentation skills
- Knowledge of all Business processes for a distribution or manufacturing facility
- The ability to work with Excel.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Exceptional telephone manner.
- Ability to travel.
- Experience with ERP / MRP applications is a plus.
