Position Description
Currently, Tetranex is seeking a full-time Junior Document Controller.
Responsibilities :
- Process drawing requests in accordance with internal and client procedures.
- Perform quality checks on engineering drawings and documents, ensuring accuracy of title blocks and non-technical information.
- Manage document revisions, transmittals, and version control throughout the project lifecycle.
- Organize, compile, and distribute work packages in line with client specifications.
- Record, manage, and maintain project documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with internal project teams, clients, and vendors.
- Assist with the creation and ongoing maintenance of departmental job instructions.
- Control and manage documents across multiple projects and clients simultaneously.
- Provide guidance and assistance to project team members regarding documentation standards and project requirements.
- Maintain accurate, well-organized project files.
- Track incoming and outgoing supplier documentation.
- Administer interdisciplinary squad checks
- Prepare and compile final documentation packages for project handover and close-out.
Requirements :
0-2 years of document control experience.Understanding of document filing and indexing.Excellent organizational, time-management, and communication skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines.High attention to detail with a strong commitment to quality.Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.Flexible and adaptable to changing projects, tasks, and requirements.Strong problem-solving skills with an interest in process improvement.Willingness to learn and grow within a document control or project support role.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.Experience with Bluebeam Revu is considered an asset.Prior experience in a document management role considered an asset.Experience working with varying client standards and requirements considered an asset.The Tetranex experience offers a number of benefits to aid in the facilitation of a great working environment for all resources, some of which include :
