Job Description
Optis Consulting is actively seeking a Talent Management & Development Lead to join our Vancouver or Toronto team. The Talent Management & Development Lead will work as a part of a small team and play a key role in the development and success of our employees.

- Lead the design and execution of talent and leadership development programs.
- Coordinate and facilitate the Professional Development Plan (PDP) process and Variable Compensation process on a quarterly basis.
- Execute administrative activities before and after PDP and Variable Compensation process on a quarterly basis.
- Collaborate with Managers to assess employees' skills, interests, and career aspirations, and develop customized career paths to support their professional growth and advancement within the organization.
- Collaborate with Managers to design and deliver training programs, workshops, and learning initiatives for employees at all levels.
- Collaborate with HR and management to identify development needs and develop learning objectives aligned with business goals.
- Design and facilitate the delivery of leadership development programs to cultivate future leaders within the organization.
- Provide coaching and mentorship to employees to support their professional growth and development.
- Implement talent mapping, talent development and succession planning initiatives to identify high-potential employees, develop their skills, and prepare them for key leadership roles within the organization, ensuring continuity and sustainability of talent.
- Support the capacity planning process by analyzing current workforce capabilities, forecasting future needs, and recommending strategies to ensure optimal staffing levels to meet organizational objectives.
- Produce Talent Management and Development reports to track key metrics, providing insights to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with management to address employee concerns and enhance the overall employee experience.
- Conduct employee surveys and gather feedback to identify areas for improvement.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of talent development programs and training and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to talent management and development activities.
- Support talent acquisition efforts according to the organization’s needs by sourcing, screening and interviewing candidates, representing Optis at career fairs, industry conferences, and networking events and implementing strategies to attract diverse talent and promote our employer brand.
Requirements
- 5 years of experience in HR and at least 2 years of experience doing Talent Management and Development.
- University degree or diploma in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, Business Management or related fields.
- Advanced level proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Proficiency in French is an asset.
- Previous experience in a management / consulting / professional services environment is an asset.

Special demands

Requirements
