On Call Education Assistant

Langley Christian School invites applications for on-call education assistants for all our campuses.

The Position: Be an advocate for students and their needs. Uphold strict privacy and confidentiality at all times. Provide support to the student individually (1:1) or in small groups. Assist in adapting situations, environment, materials and activities so the student can be successful. Implement IEP goals, planned strategies and activities for the student.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience and/or further training supporting students with autism or FASD, personal care needs or learning differences. Evidence of a strong sense of purpose and identity built on Biblical principles and participation in a local Christian church community. Strong professional references, oral and written communication skills.
