Job Purpose and Impact
The Senior Consultant is responsible for collecting, processing, and analyzing complex datasets to generate actionable insights and produce detailed reports and dashboards. Working independently, the role collaborates with cross‑functional teams to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and meaningful presentation of findings.
Key Accountabilities
- Capture, prepare, and analyze complex datasets to extract significant insights and maintain automated reporting systems.
- Develop and maintain detailed reports and dashboards, using visualizations to communicate complex data clearly.
- Perform statistical analyses to identify trends, patterns, and accéder anomalies using statistical software, and programming languages.
- Identify opportunities to improve data collection and reporting processes and implement standard methodologies.
- Collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams to understand data needs and deliver solutions in partnership with digital technology and data engineering teams.
- Coach and advise stakeholders to mature data consumption and analytics capabilities.
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and security of data across all reports and analyses.
Qualifications
Minimum 4 years of relevant work experience, typically 5 or more years.Experience translating complex data into actionable insights for stakeholders with varying technical aptitudes.Proficiency with SQL and an understanding of relational data models.Programming experience, preferably Python.Proficiency with data visualization software (PowerBI or Tableau).Must be legally entitled to work for Cargill in Canada.Preferred Qualifications
Experience with cloud computing (AWS, Azure, GCP Quartz).Experience with SAP and Salesforce.Additional Details
Location : MN-Wayzata (Hybrid) or CAN-Calgary (Remote). Relocation assistance is not provided for this role.This position will not sponsor work visas.Minnesota Sick and Safe Leave accruals of one hour for every undocumented thirty worked, up to 48 hours per calendar year unless otherwise provided by law.The expected salary for this position is $110,000-$130,000 USD. Compensation varies based on location, certifications, education, and level of experience. This position is eligible for a discretionary incentive award.Benefits
