Outside Sales Representative

Sales Associate
Our client is searching for a Sales Associate to join their team. This role will be responsible for growing the new customer base in Western Canada.
A successful candidate will have the ability to work independently and as a part of a team. This role is based out of the Nisku office, with some travel required.
Your success will be defined by your ability to :
- Develop new business leads
- Follow up on leads and conduct research to identify potential prospects
- Ensure all communication with new or existing customers are logged into the CRM system
- Prepare and analyze data to build a sales pipeline
- Offer support to department heads as required
- Offer professional, effective and efficient solutions for customer inquiries and concerns
- Handle customer concerns effectively
- Provide guidance on price competitiveness
- Participate in trade shows, training or associated product meetings when necessary
Your strengths include :
- 2+ years of experience in outside sales experience
- 2+ years of experience in the horticultural or agricultural field
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent selling and negotiation skills
- Ability to interpret and analyze sales data with the support of the sales manager
- Proficient knowledge of all apps in Microsoft Office Suite
