Electrical Engineer in Training

We are seeking a motivated Electrical Engineer in Training (EIT) to join our Langley, BC Engineering team. This role focuses on electrical systems design, including protection, control, and electrical apparatus, supporting projects in the heavy industrial, petrochemical, and oil & gas sectors. Reporting to Engineering Manager, the successful candidate will provide engineering support and occasional field services, contributing to high-quality project execution and exceptional client experiences.

This position is primarily based at our Langley corporate office with approximately 15% business travel as required.

Engineering & Design

• Apply practical knowledge of power systems and protective relays for industrial applications
• Prepare Construction Work Packages, including technical drawings and supporting documentation
• Develop early-stage engineering documents such as Design Basis Memoranda, Engineering Design Specifications, Layout Drawings, and Cost Estimations
• Write procurement specifications for electrical equipment
• Prepare bid evaluations, analysis summaries, and purchase recommendations
• Complete technical reports and design documentation
