Brown & Brown Canada has an exciting opportunity available for a Commercial Lines Customer Service Associate with our Markham team!
WHAT YOU’LL DO :
Present and meet with clients regularly to assess risk and advise on coverage for their business operations.
Generate new business and retain existing business as a client relationship manager.
Coordinate Renewal Strategy Meetings with clients and service teams, including agenda preparation, meeting minutes, and action items / timelines.
Prepare and update the Limits Chart after each renewal and amendment.
Issue Side Analyses to clients as the renewal or new business offer, providing comprehensive coverage offerings and uninsured exposures.
Facilitate the entire renewal process 90-60 days in advance and manage the process with Client Advisor (CA) and Technical Service Associate (TSA).
Follow all procedures for new business as outlined within the Commercial Marketer role.
Ensure all correspondence is attached and documented in the Business Management System (BMS).
Collaborate with the TSA on Payment Terms and Premium Financing, with collection responsibilities falling under the CA's ownership.
For automatic policy renewals, service can be fully managed by the assigned CSA / TSA.
Service a dedicated book of business.
Hold Bi-Monthly New / Renewal Meetings with CA’s and inform them of any unusual activity on accounts.
Process renewal and new business applications.
Handle incoming mail, routine calls, and accounting requests.
Answer client questions regarding coverage and limits.
Receive, coordinate, and process client / company requests and producer requests for assistance.
Coordinate and process claims with the Claims Manager.
Create and maintain insurance schedules.
Set up masters, receive certificate requests, review, and issue certificates.
Process and obtain signed finance agreements.
Update Acord applications and order MVRs.
Follow up with Producers to ensure completion of the Insurance Coverage Review Checklist.
Quote all lines of coverage under the direction of the Marketing Department.
Process middle market endorsements.
Respond to returned Renewal Questionnaires.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED :
2+ years of insurance experience in Commercial Lines.
RIBO license required.
Experience with large accounts and international business is preferred.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Proficient with MS Office Suite, especially Outlook and Excel.
Positive attitude and commitment to working in a team environment.
Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
Ability to use EPIC – BMS system. Training is provided.
