Reporting to the Regional Director, theProject Engineer / Project Coordinator is responsible for technical and administrative duties, providing coordination with Site Superintendents, Clients, Consultants and Subcontractors, as well as document control and information flow.

Position Responsibilities
Heres what your day-to-day looks like :
Prepare tenders and coordinate activities to ensure efficient job site operationsPlan ahead to foresee problems, arrange work, and procure materials well enough in advance to avoid schedule delays and rush ordersFormulate, develop, and implement methods to achieve or improve on budgeted hours and due datesAssist with estimating duties as requiredEnsure the latest revision of construction documents are in use by Lindsay Construction forces and subcontractorsEstablish project schedule and attend site meetingsJob Requirements
Our ideal candidate has the following :
Completion of post-secondary education in a relevant discipline such as Engineering or Construction ManagementUp to 2 years of relevant experience (new graduates welcome)Bilingual skills (English / French) are an assetExcellent computer skills including AutoCAD & Microsoft programsAbility to read and understand construction drawingsReliable vehicle with valid registration, insurance, and drivers licenseAbility to travel to other company offices as requiredKnowledge of the local regional market is considered an assetStrong verbal and written communication skillsFlexible and adaptable to a fast-paced, changing environmentStrong organizational, decision making, and time management skillsExceptional teamwork and interpersonal skillsHow to Apply :
