Overview
As an Instructor, you will be an expert practitioner and key educator in support of both nursing staff and the multi-disciplinary clinical team. You will take a leadership role in the planning, coordination, implementation and evaluation of education for nursing staff including orientation, compulsory and continuing education, and clinical development. You will collaborate with management and internal partners to promote standards of clinical, educational and evidence informed practice. You will play a key role in providing safe, quality patient and family centered care while reflecting the shared vision and values of AHS.

Additional Required Qualifications
Academic and clinical preparation in the area of wound management required e.g. IIWCC, NSWOC (other advanced education in Skin and Wound, Ostomy and Continence care may be considered if currently enrolled). Demonstrated leadership skills. Demonstrated Education development and delivery with adult based learning principles. Demonstrated history of creating respectful, collaborative partnerships with contracted service providers. Minimum 2 years of community experience.
Preferred Qualifications
ISFL experience preferred. LTC experience is an asset. Masters prepared is an asset. Minimum 5 years clinical practice in wound management preferred. Proven ability to interact effectively with clients with cognitive impairment.
