How you’ll make a difference :

As a member of the Corporate Security team, you would be responsible for providing a secure environment that protects employees, stakeholders and assets from workplace violence and other associated security issues.

Your Security Representative responsibilities :

• Provide customer service as the first point of contact for all clients and visitors.
• Ensure all personnel entering the WCB buildings have appropriate identification.
• Comply with and enforce rules and regulations governing WCB property, staff, and assets.
• Operation and monitoring of CCTV equipment, duress alarms, fire alarms, access control and intrusion alarms.
• Provide assistance when the Emergency Response Plan is activated.
• Monitor meetings between clients and their Case Manager.
• Administer the Safe Walk Program.
• Respond to medical emergencies and administer standard First Aid and Automatic External Defibrillator as required.
• Respond to after hour alarms on a rotational basis.
• Perform and document inspection patrols of all facilities occupied by WCB staff.
• Administer the booking of meeting rooms and AV equipment.
• Issue and maintain records of all key and card access transactions.

Salary : $53,199.00 ($28.11 / hour) to $59,125.00 ($31.246 / hour) per annum (Pay Grade 6)

Final candidates for this position are required to undergo a security clearance as a condition of employment. Successful candidate must reside in Alberta and this position requires you to work in person in our Edmonton downtown (Millard Health) office.
