Role Description
Reporting to the Senior Electrical Engineer, the Electrical Engineer will be responsible for participating in overseeing and coordinating system engineering and design projects from inception to completion.
Your expertise will be crucial to achieving project goals and ensuring seamless execution. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and clients to deliver exceptional results on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead and manage the assigned electrical design team in various engineering and design projects, ensuring timely and successful completion.
- Provide strategic direction and oversight to project teams, guiding them through each phase of the project lifecycle.
- Effectively prioritize tasks and resources to meet project deadlines and objectives.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration with stakeholders to ensure alignment and understanding.
- Facilitate regular meetings, provide status updates, and address any concerns or questions that arise.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement solutions proactively.
- Ensure all project records are accurate, up-to-date, and easily accessible.
Your Qualifications
Within the field of electrical building services, you are an experienced professional engineer (P.Eng.) with a relevant educational background.
You have a track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget. Your exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities help you to manage competing priorities and adapt to changing circumstances.
Your excellent verbal and written communication skills allow you to convey technical information clearly and concisely to non-technical stakeholders.
Your qualifications include :
- Years of relevant work experience in the field of electrical building services.
- Bachelor of engineering or applied science in electrical engineering or equivalent; Registration or eligibility for registration with Engineers New Brunswick.
- A Senior Certified Engineering Technologist with equivalent experience may also be considered.
- Full understanding of provincial building codes, electrical codes and standards.
- Ability to work well independently or within a team environment.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a complex environment with multiple projects and clients.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Flexible and adaptable problem-solving skills.
