We areseekinga talented and motivated senior / intermediateSoftware Developerto join our team to work on a research and development project. The ideal candidate willpossessa strong background in computer scienceapplication developmentknowledge of data analytics and data visualization. This role involves undertaking research and development on innovative projects thatleveragegeospatial data to create interactive web tools that drive insights and inform decision-making.

Qualifications

Required :

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Data Science or a related field. Masters degree preferred
• 4 Years of Experience in Application development(full stack) preferablygeospatialanalysisand applications
• Proficient in web programming HTML JS(React Node JS Typescript) Pythonand CSS
• Understanding and experience of Machine learning data analytics Statistics are highly valuable assets
• Database management knowledge Postgres / Oracle / SQL Server
• NoSQL database knowledge will be asset
• Understanding of AGILE and collaborative software developmentmethodologyand tools
• Hands-on; results oriented; ability to prioritizeobjectivesand meet timelines
• Quick learner and self-motivator with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively; take initiative setprioritiesand see projects through to completion
• Understanding of machine learning and AI principles and techniques for data analysis
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Strategic thinker
