Qualifications & Credentials

Driver's License (Class 1 or A)

Responsibilities

Plan or adjust routes based on changing conditions using computer equipment, GPS, or other navigation devices to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions

Load and unload goods

Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials

Oversee vehicle condition and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment

Perform brake adjustments

Perform pre‑trip, en route, and post‑trip inspections and oversee all vehicle aspects

Perform preventive maintenance

Receive and relay information to central dispatch
