Job Summary :
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing complex data sets, managing data lineage, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure data quality and compliance.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Collibra, data lakes, and advanced data management practices, as well as an interest in emerging technologies like Stivate and Brick.
Qualifications :
- Education : Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience :
- 5+ years of experience in data management. data lineage capture, data analysis or any other related data programs, with hands-on expertise in :
- Data lineage, governance processes and data analysis or any other related data programs
- Experience with data governance and metadata management tools such as Collibra
- Experience with data manipulation and analysis tools such as Datameer, SQL
- Experience with Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) controls and compliance
- Data lakes (Azure Data Lake, AWS Lake Formation, or similar)
- Experience handling and deriving information from large data sets.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills coupled with the ability to communicate effectively with both business and technology staff at different levels of seniority.
- Technical Skills :
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, or R for data analysis
- Experience with ETL processes and data integration
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
- Understanding of metadata management and data governance best practices
- Soft Skills : Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a team environment.
