About The Role
Axiom Builders is seeking an Senior Innovation Analyst to collaborate closely with operational managers and support the evaluation and implementation of construction technologies and practices.
Reporting to our Innovation Lead, this role is pivotal in establishing and enhancing our Innovation function as a strategic pillar of Axiom's long-term growth and effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
Research & Analysis
- Collect & prioritize operational pain points from across site teams for consideration.
- Research emerging trends in the construction sector, emerging technologies & Contech investor activities.
- Engage with key managers, leaders and external stakeholders to align findings with business goals.
- Investigation of current operational practices to define opportunities for both efficiencies and value-added growth.
- Business case (Financial / cost-benefit) modeling for evaluation and prioritization of pain points and solutions.
- Maintain organized log of all innovation initiatives in flight with history, status, and next steps.
Execution
- Act as a key relationship holder and trusted advisor for our most important stakeholders : our front-line workers.
- Quantify insights & impacts from pilot performance and stakeholder observations to revise recommendations.
- Perform scenario analysis to support decisions on enterprise rollouts and corporate strategy.
- Monitor & maintain the Construction Technology innovation funnel to maximize portfolio impact / ROI.
- Support multiple simultaneous experimental 'pilots' of high-potential solutions with site teams on live projects.
- Help plan and assess the ongoing viability and impact of pilot projects with ongoing monitoring and support.
Stakeholder Relationships
- Continuously refine & deepen command of emerging tech, construction priorities, best practices & site operations.
- Provide leadership to cross-functional participants, unlocking group strengths to ensure milestones are achieved.
- Author high-quality presentations for key leaders on research, analysis, and recommendations in a clear manner.

Skills and Experience
- 2+ years of relevant business experience, related to Strategy & Operations;
- Academic background in Business, Engineering, Technology, Economics, or related field.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong organization and project management skills
- Advance degree will be considered a strong asset
- Consulting or On-site construction experience is considered an asset.

The base salary range for this role may be $70,000 to $100,000, depending on experience, plus a competitive performance-based bonus program.
