Key Duties

• Complete jobs using a variety of tools and equipment safely and effectively
• Ensure all tools and equipment are in good working order and complete minor maintenance as required
• Load, unload and transport construction materials
• Manual labour including but not limited to shoveling, hand digging, raking
• Proficient fine / finish grading
• Measure distances from reference points to locate the boundaries of site
• Understand the issues involving ground disturbance and able to work in and implement safe work practices and contribute to a safe work environment
• Participate in safety meetings and form completion on a regular basis
• Clean and pile salvaged materials
• Bulk and detailed excavations, light civil installations
• Able to read and understand blueprints and detail sections to determine and set grades

Must meet a minimum of 2 out of 3 of the following criteria :

Compensation Package

Hourly wage of $30-40 / hour based on experience
