The company operates with a global, distributed workforce and teams meet in person 2 to 4 times per year in locations around the world to align on strategy and execution. Canonical is founder-led, profitable, and growing.
This is an exciting opportunity for an exceptional software engineer passionate about open source software, Linux, and Web Services at scale. You will join Canonical’s Store team, which develops and operates a large system of backend services powering the Snap Store and Charmhub.io marketplaces. Our services are built primarily in Python, with some Golang.
We face exciting challenges, including scaling production architecture, expanding the range of software we deliver through the system powering our marketplaces, and enhancing our offering for IoT and large Enterprise solutions.
