Position : Vehicle Fleet Coordinator Heavy Machinery
Location : Dorval, QC (on-site)
Salary : $70,000 to $85,000 per year
Benefits : Group insurance + 4 weeks of vacation
Job Overview :
Join a dynamic team as a Vehicle Fleet Coordinator , where you will be responsible for the operational management of vehicles, with a focus on heavy machinery.
You will be responsible for responding to service calls, analyzing the operational needs of construction sites, managing vehicle maintenance, and developing efficient processes in a new department.
Responsibilities :
- Respond to service calls and coordinate the necessary interventions on construction sites.
- Analyze the operational needs of construction sites and communicate maintenance or equipment replacement requests if necessary.
- Create purchase orders for parts and services required.
- Ensure the administrative management of vehicles, including formalities with the SAAQ and carriers.
- Plan and prioritize vehicle inspections, maintenance and repairs.
- Monitor the progress of repairs on a daily basis and communicate relevant information to construction sites.
- Validate quotes and invoices related to services and repairs.
- Participate in the development and monitoring of budgets.
- Ensure the satisfaction of construction sites with vehicle services.
Candidate Profile :
- Professional Studies Diploma (DEP) in a relevant field (ideally).
- Good knowledge of machinery and mechanics.
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar position.
- Fluency in French.
- Proficiency in the Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Experience with the MIR system (an asset).
- Developed logical and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple files simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and popularization skills.
