Job Duties :
- Collect and document user requirements to understand business needs and translate them into data-driven solutions.
- Apply expertise in big data analysis and machine learning / AI to conduct comprehensive analysis in the competitive landscape of drug discovery programs.
- Design and develop database architecture for information systems projects.
- Design, construct, modify, integrate, implement, and test data models and database management systems.
- Develop and maintain data pipelines to collect, process, and analyze large volumes of market data.
- Ensure data integrity and security by implementing best practices in data management.
- Utilize machine learning techniques to build models that predict market trends and provide insights into market dynamics.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and threats in the biotech industry.
- Present findings and recommendations to senior management to inform strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into data-driven solutions.
- Provide advice to other informatics professionals regarding the selection, application, and implementation of database management tools.
- May lead, coordinate, or supervise other workers in the team.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in data engineering, machine learning, and biotech market trends.
Requirements :
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analysis, Machine Learning, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of data modeling, analysis, design, and management experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to stay updated with industry advancements.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
- Experience in the biotech or healthcare industry is a plus but not required.
