Plant Controller
The Plant Controller is responsible for overseeing all plant-level financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting, cost control, and alignment with corporate financial objectives. This role partners closely with the Plant Ops Leadership to support operational decision-making, drive financial performance, and maintain regulatory compliance.
Vancouver area based role in-office.
Responsibilities :
- Lead all plant accounting functions, including budgeting, capital accounting, accounts payable, and month-end close
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, cost metrics, and performance data to support decision-making
- Monitor production costs, inventory, raw materials, and capital expenditures to ensure targets are met
- Support critical site decisions related to capital projects, maintenance planning, and operational efficiency
- Ensure compliance with corporate policies and regulatory requirements (safety, environmental, ethical standards)
- Partner with corporate finance, suppliers, carriers, customers, and local stakeholders as needed
- Support talent development and key people initiatives within the plant
Requirements :
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business required (CPA not required but is a benefit)5-8 years of progressive accounting / finance leadership experience, including budgeting, cost control, and financial reportingMinimum 3-5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environmentDemonstrated leadership responsibilityStrong analytical and auditing skills with the ability to support operational decision-makingExperience working with auditors, vendors, and customersSalary range 110-130,000 depending on experience.
