A leading financial service is looking to onboard Bilingual Administrative Assistant on contract basis for 12 months working on-site in Toronto location.

Your new role

  • Responsible for managing iing and outgoing mail, email, and fax
  • Administrative duties including scanning, filing, and storage
  • Enter, review, and verify data from paper or electronic forms into a standard database
  • Answer iing phone calls to assist and direct claimants and representatives in a professional and empathetic manner
  • Assist with coordination and logistics of meetings, travel, and expense tracking
  • Contacting class members to obtain required information, documentation, or confirmations when

necessary

  • Preparing notifications to claimants pertaining to claim status, review decisions, and instructions Supporting claimants in a professional manner when they require assistance on topics including claim form access, assessment questions, and accessing mental health and cultural resources
  • What you need to succeed

  • 1+ year of experience in administrative or clerical support.
  • Bilingualism (English / French), the ability to speak an Indigenous language (i.e., Cree languages, Inuktitut, Ojibway etc.) considered an asset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite including Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Ability to use photocopiers, scanners, and printers
  • Experience using a VOIP / Internet phone service is desirable
