A leading financial service is looking to onboard Bilingual Administrative Assistant on contract basis for 12 months working on-site in Toronto location.
Your new role
- Responsible for managing iing and outgoing mail, email, and fax
- Administrative duties including scanning, filing, and storage
- Enter, review, and verify data from paper or electronic forms into a standard database
- Answer iing phone calls to assist and direct claimants and representatives in a professional and empathetic manner
- Assist with coordination and logistics of meetings, travel, and expense tracking
- Contacting class members to obtain required information, documentation, or confirmations when
necessary
Preparing notifications to claimants pertaining to claim status, review decisions, and instructions Supporting claimants in a professional manner when they require assistance on topics including claim form access, assessment questions, and accessing mental health and cultural resourcesWhat you need to succeed
1+ year of experience in administrative or clerical support.Bilingualism (English / French), the ability to speak an Indigenous language (i.e., Cree languages, Inuktitut, Ojibway etc.) considered an asset.Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite including Outlook, Word, and ExcelAbility to use photocopiers, scanners, and printersExperience using a VOIP / Internet phone service is desirable
