Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join their growing team, offering an exciting opportunity to contribute to innovative projects!

• Remote : Canada
• Working hours : 8 am to 5 pm (Central Time)
• Occasionally travel to the United States

Role :

The Senior Business Analyst will act as a key liaison between customers and internal teams, facilitating successful project delivery.

Responsibilities include conducting business requirement workshops, mapping customer processes to the client’s products, and ensuring alignment with the project scope.

The ideal candidate will have experience in SaaS product implementations, strong expertise in enterprise applications, and proficiency in tools such as Jira and Azure DevOps.

Responsibilities :

• Act as the primary liaison between customers and internal teams to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Lead business requirements workshops with customers and document their business processes.
• Analyze and map customer processes to the client's products, developing tailored solutions to meet their needs.
• Set clear expectations for project scope with customers and maintain alignment using a Requirements Traceability Matrix.
• Collaborate with customers and internal teams to design systems and create detailed functional specifications.
• Convert functional specifications into Product Backlog Items (PBIs) and work with configuration teams to ensure accurate development.
• Conduct system demos and sprint reviews with customers to confirm project progress is on track.
• Oversee user acceptance testing (UAT), working closely with end-users to ensure smooth adoption of the solution.
• Facilitate training sessions and adhere to the client’s project management methodologies for consistent delivery.
• Proactively identify and manage project risks, drive change management efforts, and ensure project objectives are met.

Skills and Qualifications :

• A bachelor’s degree is mandatory, and additional certification in business analysis (such as CBAP or CCBA) is highly desirable.
• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a proven track record in delivering successful projects across various industries.
• Hands-on experience with SaaS product implementations, including large-scale platforms like SAP, ERP, or Salesforce.
• Experience in data migration, integration, and data mapping is a significant advantage.
• Skilled in writing Product Backlog Items (PBIs) using tools such as Jira and Azure DevOps.
• Expertise in managing a Requirements Traceability Matrix to ensure alignment with project requirements throughout the lifecycle.
• Possesses excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, along with strong time management and organizational abilities.
• Outstanding communication and presentation skills, including the ability to produce clear and detailed technical documentation.
• Experience in public sector SaaS-based implementations is a significant asset.
• Familiarity with infrastructure management or capital project planning is a plus.
• Knowledge of SQL is a bonus.
