Summer Student - Materials & Logistics (Shipper / Receiver / Materials Handler) (4 Months)

Summary

We are currently recruiting for a Materials & Logistics (Shipper / Receiver / Materials Handler) Summer Student to work at our Edmonton Automation Centre location on a full-time basis from May to August 2026 . This position reports to the Manager, Materials Handling.

Role and Responsibilities

• Handle customer communications regarding shipping / receiving
• Provide superior customer service to internal and external customers
• Handle incoming, outgoing and internal deliveries
• Package outgoing shipments
• Handle inventory / stock, conduct stock counts, as required
• Computerized data input on various operating systems
• Picking orders
• Internal and external Customer communication
• Inventory floor maintenance
• Stock replenishment
• Customer counter interaction
• Maintain a safe work environment and actively participate in Spartans safety culture
• Maintain on-time delivery
• Maintain a clean work area
• Provide quality packaging and accurate receipts
