Our client, Louenhide North America, is a handbag and accessory wholesale and retail distributor located in beautiful Kelowna, BC.

As a company experiencing significant growth and launching into new markets, they are seeking a highly creative Brand Manager to lead the Marketing and E-Commerce components of their business.

Are you a creative and strategic thinker with a passion for leveraging existing assets to drive impactful marketing campaigns?

As the successful candidate you will work behind the scenes to orchestrate the transformation of existing marketing content into compelling, customized campaigns that resonate with Louenhide North America’s target audience.

You will manage and own the company websites, updating them regularly with new product photos and seasonal campaigns. You will work closely with the Owner to manage the marketing and e-commerce development and maintenance for both the retail and wholesale sectors of Louenhide North America.

Using your keen eye for detail, and combining it with a passion for fashion, you with edit visually appealing, well-branded, marketing materials for both print and digital use and you will be responsible to assist in the development and execution of various marketing strategies to increase brand awareness, drive website traffic, and increase sales.

In an ever-evolving small business, this position will require willingness to collaborate in all areas of the business operations.

As we imagine the possibilities of this role, the ideal candidate will work Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day (7am to 3pm or 8am to 4pm), with flexibility around the busier times of the year and tradeshows.

Additional responsibilities include :

  • Work with and edit content and materials provided by Louenhide International; customize them to be used for diverse marketing platforms that cultivate connections within the target market and assist in the expansion of online wholesale and retail and sales;
  • Execute digital marketing initiatives across different channels including SEO, email, social media, video, and mobile;
  • Edit and implement communications initiatives; Rollout digital and print materials including :
  • ads, signage, special event items for tradeshows
  • promo giveaway items, display materials
  • press releases, articles, blogs
  • Manage business social media accounts and engage on social media platforms, executing marketing tactics to drive business;
  • Act as a voice for the organization and respond to comments, questions, and reviews on digital channels;
  • Conduct market research to understand consumer preferences, market trends, and the competitive landscape when creating brand strategies;
  • Work with a marketing agency to monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of brand strategies and marketing efforts;
  • Manage budgets for marketing related activities, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to achieve desired outcomes;
  • Identify and pursue opportunities for strategic partnerships and collaborations to enhance the brand's visibility and reach;
  • Explore opportunities for expanding the brand into new markets or segments while maintaining brand integrity;
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in digital marketing and propose new ideas for continuous improvement;
  • Additional responsibilities as required.

Requirements

  • Post-Secondary education in Communications, Marketing, Writing, Business, or a related field;
  • 3-5+ years’ experience in a similar marketing role; experience in digital & content marketing;
  • Capabilities with Microsoft Applications, Mac OS, Mailchimp or Klaviyo, Photoshop, InDesign and Canva are required;
  • Experience working with websites and integrated inventory and accounting software considered an asset;
  • Graphic design ability considered an asset
  • Excellent writing skills;
  • Effective verbal communication skills;
  • Superior attention to detail with an eye for formatting;
  • Previous experience in editing and updating of custom websites;
  • Ability to take feedback and devise solutions;
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to accuracy are essential;
  • Flexible and comfortable juggling multiple responsibilities;
  • Comfortable with setting priorities;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills;
  • High degree of self-motivation and ability to work independently to meet deadlines.

The salary range for this position is $55,000 to $65,000 per annum based on previous experience.
