As a Data Security Engineer , you will design and implement robust security frameworks that safeguard organizational data against internal and external threats.

Responsibilities

• Design and govern Data Security Posture Management (DSPM) architectures and maintain data security frameworks, architecture & AI standards.
• Implement and maintain data protection technologies, deploying and managing platforms such as DSPM and Data Loss Prevention (DLP) to safeguard sensitive data across systems and networks.
• Lead data discovery and classification efforts, identifying and categorizing data based on sensitivity, regulatory requirements and AI readiness to ensure appropriate protection measures are applied.
• Monitor data movement and respond to security incidents, investigating anomalies and policy violations promptly.
• Establish a working group to recommend controls and policies, enabling effective governance, DLP and preventing unauthorized data exposure.
• Ensure compliance with privacy and geographical regulations, such as GDPR, Quebec Law 25, California CCPA, and PCI requirements.
