Warehouse Associate

We are seeking a reliable and detail-orientated Warehouse Associate to join our Aurorateam. The ideal candidate will be responsible for picking and shipping orders, receiving material, maintaining accurate inventory records, operating a forklift to load and unload trucks, and performing general warehouse maintenance to ensure a safe and efficient work environment. Key Responsibilities: * Pick and prepare orders accurately and efficiently for shipment. * Receive incoming materials and verify quantities and quality against purchase orders. * Maintain accurate inventory records through regular cycle counts and data entry. * Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely to load and offload trucks. * Perform general warehouse maintenance, including cleaning, organizing, and ensuring safety protocols are followed. * Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily operational goals. * Report any discrepancies, damages, or safety hazards promptly. Qualifications: * Grade 12 Education (or equivalent). * Minimum of one year warehouse experience. * Must have a Forklift certification. * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. * Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and perform physical tasks. * Computer literacy for inventory management systems, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Word, and Outlook. * Good communication and teamwork abilities. * Electrical distribution / product knowledge would be an asset.
