Job Summary

We areseeking an experienced Petroleum Engineering (PE) professional tojoin our Unconventional Reservoir Engineering Department (URED).

This position is based in Dhahran Saudi Arabia.

Reporting to the Manager of the UR Development Strategyand Reserves Division the PE will have broad experience within theunconventional upstream oil and gas industry.

The PE should have indepth knowledge and expertise with the following : (1) EconomicEvaluation Business Planning and budgeting (2) Field developmentand depletion plans and (3) Investment decision analysis (includingrisk and uncertainty).

URED provides highleveltechnical support to upstream management encompassing all areasrelated to unconventional field development within the Kingdom.

This role requires both depth and breadth of critical technicalexpertise managerial acumen and exceptional communication skills.

The successful candidate will provide strategic options forunconventional development with emphasis on economic evaluation.

The successful candidate will apply holistic modeling and decisionanalysis techniques to support value optimization of the fullupstream portfolio within the Companys upstream strategy.

Additionally the successful candidate will have significant liaisonresponsibilities with several organizations internal to ThisCompany including Finance Corporate Strategy & Market Analysisand Reserves.

Responsibilities :

• Conduct economic modeling to supportdevelopment as part of commerciality assessment.
• Perform economic evaluation to aid fastpaced developmentdecisions collaborating closely with support functions such asCorporate Finance Strategy and Reserves groups.
• Undertake Risk & Uncertainty assessment of technicaland financial components.
• Execute specificscenario planning and sensitivity studies as directed byManagement.
• Collaborate closely withmultidisciplinary teams to strategize and implement fielddevelopment plans.
• Possess expertise inReserves estimation validation and booking for unconventionalplays.
• Familiarity with business planningprocesses including short & longrange planning and portfolioranking.
• Provide economic and operationalbenchmarking of North American Unconventional Plays.
• Develop and implement new work processes best technicalpractices governance and controls.
• Coach andmentor less experienced Saudi engineers effectively explainingideas concepts and techniques.
• Represent ThisCompany in external forums.

Requirements :

• This role required candidate topermanently relocate at Dhahran SaudiArabia.
• Bachelors degree inPetroleum Engineering or related field with an advanced degree inPetroleum Economics or Statistics being advantageous.
• 1215 years of experience with at least 58 years inunconventional plays such as shale tight sand or channelreservoirs.
• Experience in unconventionalhydrocarbon basins is required with preference given to candidateswith experience in unconventional greenfielddevelopment.
• Knowledge of applications such asPEEP MOSAIC Enersight PVTsim ProjectRA and Spotfire isrequired.
• Demonstrated ability to work in afastpaced environment and handle ambiguity in analysis.
• Strong computer and data analysis / statistical skills withproficiency in visualization using Spotfire.
• Proficient in economic sensitivities and possessesbusiness planning acumen.
• Solid organizationaland time management skills with the ability to work with limiteddata.
• Excellent written and verbalcommunication skills including the ability to generate managementreports.
• Broad knowledge in drillingstimulation and production technologies.
