About The Opportunity

Working as an integral part of the Ayás Mén̓men Child and Family Services Department, this position reports directly to the Administrative Manager, This is an officer position whose incumbent is strong interpersonally, technically, and administratively.

This position acts as the internal / external key point of contact for all department events The incumbent is responsible for a wide range of word-processing, research, and administrative tasks associated with Ayás Mén̓men events and presentations and department workshops.

Current knowledge of Squamish Nation policies, practices, and protocols is required. Ensures issues are handled according to Squamish Nation policy and guidelines.

The position requires intermediate to advanced desktop publishing for the department’s newsletters, strong technical and communication skills as well as experience in a wide variety of software.

This position requires extensive event planning experience across different and diverse events. This position handles, oversees and coordinates all event operations for the department.

Salary : $ 59,373 - $ 66,223 annually, plus a comprehensive benefits program.
